Happy Easter!

Well it's been a long weekend leading up to the holiday. My baby has a full basket from the Easter bunny though! This is one of my favorite holidays because I love how excited she gets when she wakes up in the morning and sees everything she got. I also love dying the eggs with her, and the egg hunt she gets to have with all her cousins at my Nanaw's house. They get quite competitive and it's funny. The younger ones could care less, they just think its hilarious when they find an egg. Once they hit about 5 or 6, though, the game is ON! When it is over, the older ones sit down and count how many each of them found and then the bragging rights begin. But, the older older ones, ages 10 and up know that the real prize is finding the money eggs. I remember doing all that when I was a kid. Nanaw's Easter egg hunt is one of my favorite family traditions, and to be able to watch my baby do it now makes me quite happy! Also, the fact that my Nanaw has gotten to see 3 generations worth of egg hunts makes me the happiest. Most people love Christmas and birthdays the most each year, but, as for me, other than Mother's day, I would take Easter over any holiday! I hope everyone has a great holiday, and I hope everyone gets to enjoy it with their families! Now I have to get to sleep because my love bug will be up EARLY to show me what the Easter bunny brought for her! Happy Easter everyone!!
